Attending the Old Station Fly-in & Heritage Show 2015 was privately owned de Havilland DH-104 Dove 5 VH-DHI.

Manufactured in 1955, this beautiful 'ole lady of the skies is powered by a pair of  Gypsy Queen 70-2, 6-cylinder piston engines and served for a number of years with the Royal Navy (RN) as XJ324.

Of interest, the de Havilland DH-104 Dove was a British designed, short-haul airliner that was manufactured between 1946 and 1967. Several military variants were also operated such as the Devon by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Sea Devon by the Royal Navy (RN).

A longer, four-engined development of the Dove was the de Havilland Heron.
