Queensland Government aircraft make regular visits to Central Queensland

While undoubtedly continuing to satisfy usual commitments demanded by the Queensland State Government, a number of aircraft operated by the Queensland Government have been busier than normal in recent days because of additional workload generated in the wake of ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie's impact on the Whitsundays, and floods inundating parts of Rockhampton.

Among the hype of activity has been visits to Central Queensland by Beechcraft B350 Super King Air VH-SGQ, Raytheon Hawker 850XP VH-SGY, and Cessna 560 Citation Ultra VH-PSU, the later committed to duties with the Queensland Police Service (QPS).

Throughout the cause of the past few days and from the state capital of Brisbane, Super King Air VH-SGQ has visited Mackay and Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport (twice), Hawker 850XP VH-SGY has been noted at Townsville (twice), Gladstone (twice) and Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport, while Citation Ultra VH-PSU has operated to Gladstone, Longreach and Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport.

As featured, Air Queensland.blogspot captured VH-PSU and VH-SGY at Gladstone on Friday, 07 April 2017.
