Execujet Australia Bombardier Challenger CL-604 VH-VRE arrives at Rockhampton

With Beef Week 2015 underway at Rockhampton, many and varied types of aircraft are making their way to the beef capital and among the activity at Rockhampton Airport so far this week (presumably for beef week but not confirmed) was the pleasant arrival of Execujet Australia Bombardier CL600-2B16 Challenger CL-604 VH-VRE from Perth, Western Australia on Sunday, May 03.

Of interest, this sleek business jet covered the distance from Perth to Rockhampton in less than 4 hours.

Remaining parked at Rockhampton on Monday, May 04, VH-VRE departed for Sydney on Tuesday, May 05, and returned back to Rockhampton later that day for another overnight stay.

VH-VRE departed Rocky for a direct flight to Perth on Wednesday, May 06.

As featured in this post, Phil Munsel Photography of Rockhampton was fortunate to capture some truly wonderful photo's of fellow Execujet Australia Bombardier CL600-2B16 Challenger CL-604 VH-VSZ at the beef capital in September 2014.

For readers who have ever wondered what is the difference between a Canadair and a Bombardier 600 series jet, research revealed the aircraft was first produced by Canadair as an independent company and then produced from 1986 onwards by Canadair as a division of Bombardier Aerospace.
